DESCRIPTION & FEATURES

Superior Restoration Products is pleased to provide an easy to use carpet protector. This is an industrial strength plastic film, which features a pressure sensitive water-based self adhesive system.

Each roll is 24" x 600' and is perferated every 20" with a 3mm or 4mm  thickness, and designed for up to 45 days of carpet adhesion. When extreme conditions are prevelent it may be necessary to spray a light coat of Superior's Velour Spray Adhesive to help with adhesion promotion.

Once adhered, Superior's Carpet Protector is amazingly strong and durable. It protects carpets against wear, and the elements, which insures no need of repair, re-dying, or detail to the carpet when the vehicle is sold.

APPLICATIONS

Place a roll on a Carpet Protector Dispenser, which has been fastened down securely.

Make sure you have a tool which will be used to back roll your protector sheet onto, for easy transfer from Roll to vehicle, i.e (Styrofoam pool noodle, rolled up Towel, PVC pipe)

It is very important that the carpet is cleaned thoroughly before application.

Using Superior's Carpet Spot Remover, apply a generous amount to a lint free rag, and wipe carpet thoroughly. Once cleaned, wipe the carpet with a dry lint free rag to remove excess cleaner. Proceed to apply a generous amount of Superior's Silicone Wash on to another lint free rag, and wipe thoroughly. Once applied, wipe the carpet with a dry lint free rag to remove excess Silicone Wash. It is imperative that the carpet is completely dry before applying Superior's Carpet Protector!!

Locate two corners of film, pull about 12" off of the roll. Place the tube on the NON tack side. Proceed to roll film onto the tube. At the perferation, cut with utility knife (etc.). Leave a couple of inches loose on the tube. Place the tube in vehicle. Start at the door side, press down the couple of inches of film, then unroll towards the center of vehicle. Lift and press as needed.

Use of a special water-based adhesive allows any adhesive transfer to carpet to be easily cleanned with ammonia (Windex) or a carpet extraction machine.

WATER BASE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully clean with Superiors Vinyl & Leather Cleaner, then Silicone Wash.
   
2. Apply a thin even coat of color. Add 5 to 10% Flatner as needed to adjust the sheen. Use 5 to 10% Flex Additive for extra flexibility in high stress areas. Allow it to dry to the touch. Add additional coats as needed. For fabrics & carpets dilute with 10% water.
   
3. Spray equipment with minimum of 35 psi works the best. Spray very light coats with preval.
